Argonian first began in the twilight before the grunge explosion in the the early '90s. The name is derived from the Greek myth of Jason and the Argonauts. Argonians are like the ancient Greek sailors but instead explore the deepest reaches of sound through technology, creativity and freedom.
The bands sound has developed from a variety of influences such as New Order, The Cure, OMD, NIN, The Smiths, Massive Attack, Nirvana, Melvins, and other bands we've never even heard of. . . If a label had to be put on the sound, perhaps pre-grunge alternative pop rock would fit the bill.
