Bicyclist Hit While Riding Along SR 16

A driver was merging onto SR 16 when he collided with the bicyclist, according to Washington State Patrol.

MULLINEX, WA - A 47-year-old Port Orchard bicyclist was injured over the weekend while biking along SR 16 near Mullinex, according to Washington State Patrol. The crash happened close to 8 p.m. on Saturday along westbound SR 16.

Paul Anderson, 27, of Centralia, was entering SR 16 via the on-ramp at Mullinex Road. At the same time the bicyclist, China Davis, 47, was turned right across the on-ramp, according to Washington State Patrol.

Davis was taken to St. Joseph's for treatment, according to state patrol. Police did not immediately issue any citations against either Davis or Anderson.
