Boys Lacrosse: Harbor Fire Cruises Past Klahwoya for Seventh Win
Cory Marchand netted six goals to lead Harbor Fire past Klahwoya.

GIG HARBOR -- Cory Marchand netted six goals to lead Harbor Fire to its seventh win of the season with a 13 - 3 boys high school lacrosse defeat of Klahowya, Friday at Peninsula High School.
The win gave Division II Olympic Conference leading Harbor a full game-and-a-half lead over the second place Eagles.
Gig harbor took the early lead outscoring Klahowya 3 - 2 in the first and 3 - 1 in the second for a 6 - 3 advantage at the halftime. In the second half, Harbor added 2 in the third and 5 more in the fourth to secure the win.

Ashton Sidebottom had 17 save in goal for Harbor, while Klahowya's Ryder Hartman had two goals for Klahowya.
Gig Harbor (7-4-0) next faces Port Angeles (0-10-0), Thursday, May 3 in a 5 p.m. start at Storm King Soccer Fields in Port Angeles.
