Design gurus have chosen the 2013 color of the year!

The design gurus have decided on the 2013 color of the year! 

 

What’s your guess? Remember, in a previous blog we told you that the fashion industry chooses the colors and pattern trends that are “in” for a season or year. When consumers go to Target, Home Depot, Sears those exact colors and patterns are present at those different stores. This is no coincidence.  Those colors have been deliberately chosen. In 2012 the color choice was Tangerine Tango! This year’s color? Emerald green! 

What an elegant choice! In ancient times, emeralds were associated with the greek goddess Venus, the goddess of love and beauty.  Did you hear that ladies?  You can decorate your entire house in the shimmery gem color and tell your hubby it is a beautiful labor of love!  Well, you don’t overkill it…accent walls is
probably a better choice.
