No Increase in Toll Rates, That's Something to Celebrate

The toll takes a toll on many.

Having lived in California, I remember when taxes were raised to help out after earthquake damage, with the promise of it being reduced. It never was. And now, we that we NEED to cross over in order to get off the Kitsap Peninsula.

How could they be so thoughtful to not charge us extra? Did you somehow sense a bit of sarcasm in that statement? Well it was there, believe me.

First of all, I suppose the bridge has been well paid for by now. But oh, yes, we have to take in account that we need to pay for the Good to Go set up and all the employees no doubt. After the ticketing fiasco, its very comforting to see our dollars go to such experienced infrastructure!

I'm not trying to be mean, it's just that many folks are feeling the weight of the climbing costs of food, gas, etc. To have to pay for the privilege of crossing a bridge is a bit lame in my humble opinion, especially after the costs of building the bridge are all accounted for, at least I hope they are by now!
