Patch Helps Join People Together in the Community

I find it amazing how life can lead you to such interesting avenues. First of all, blogging on Patch is a nice "hobby", and a great privilege to be able to have an audience for what you post. 

When I started noticing a fellow blogger's posts, (hi Michelle)  I saw that she and I had a lot in common. I saw that we both liked to travel around this gorgeous area, sample foods from the amazing restaurants and vendors here, and just enjoy being a Gig Harborite. 

Well, we finally decided to meet at one of the concerts at Uptown Gig Harbor. It was divine fiat to find a friend right over cyberspace who you can be adventurous with! 

Another adventure we had was painting pottery at Java and Clay. I'm looking forward to picking up my bowl on Tuesday. We will keep you posted on other joint ventures that our families do. 

But the whole point of this blog is to state how awesome it is to see friendships develop even when you're least expected. Even here, on Patch!
