Burley Post Office Burglarized
The incident happened early Monday morning at the post office north of Purdy, according to postal inspectors.
BURLEY, WA — U.S. Postal Service inspectors are investigating an apparent burglary that happened at the Burley post office early Monday morning.
According to the USPIS, the Pierce County Sheriff's Office responded to a report of loud noises at the building, which is along Burley Avenue Southeast just west of Bethel Burley Road, early this morning. Police could see that someone had broken into the building.
It's unclear how much was stolen. USPIS was contacting local residents who either have a PO Box or get mail from the Burley post office to figure out if anything is missing.

The USPIS was on scene investigating, and postal inspectors are looking for tips from the public. Contact (877) 876-2455 if you were near the post office and saw anything suspicious.
