Get Ready to Roll: Pride Gig Harbor’s 3rd Annual Rainbow Roller Disco Returns April 25
The roller rink is calling once again! Pride Gig Harbor is thrilled to announce the 3rd Annual Rainbow Roller Disco, happening Saturday, April 25, 2026, from 4:30 PM to 7:30 PM at the Key Peninsula Civic Center. This high-energy, all-ages fundraiser promises an unforgettable evening of music, movement, and community connection—all in support of the 4th Annual Pride in the Park this June at Skansie Brothers Park.
Now in its third year, the Rainbow Roller Disco has become a beloved community tradition—bringing people together in a joyful, inclusive space while raising essential funds to power Gig Harbor’s growing Pride celebration.
This year’s event will feature an exciting lineup of activities and entertainment, including:
- Roller skating under the disco lights, plus a skate clinic with Hunter Chapa
- A Pride Pop-Up Marketplace featuring LGBTQIA+ creators and youth entrepreneurs
- Delicious food offerings and a community bake sale
- Silent auction and raffle with a variety of donated items and experiences
- Lip Sync Contest and Karaoke
- Drag Storytime with Social Justice Kids
- Interactive activities, photo experiences, and more
In a small town like Gig Harbor, creating visible, welcoming, and affirming spaces for the LGBTQIA+ community is more important than ever. Events like Rainbow Roller Disco and Pride in the Park ensure that community members of all ages feel seen, supported, and celebrated close to home.
“We are incredibly honored to have created Pride in the Park in 2023 and to continue growing it each year with the support of our community,” said organizers. “Rainbow Roller Disco is not only a joyful night—it’s a vital fundraiser that makes Pride in the Park possible.”
This event is entirely grassroots and community-led. Pride Gig Harbor does not receive grants or funding from corporations, city, or county sources. Every ticket purchased, donation made, and auction item contributed directly supports the production of Pride in the Park, helping cover essential costs such as permits, insurance, security, entertainment, and event logistics.
