Caught: Gig Harbor Area Serial Burglar
Police say the burglar was responsible for as many as 20 local crimes.
GIG HARBOR, WA - Police say they have caught a serial burglar who was targeting commercial businesses in the area.
The suspect was caught on Thursday night in Port Orchard after a joint investigation between Gig Harbor and police from Pierce County, Kitsap County, Mason County, Poulsbo, Port Orchard, Bremerton, Centralia, Puyallup, and South Sound 911.
Police believe the suspect, a 38-year-old man from Port Orchard, committed 20 burglaries in the area, and at least six were committed in Gig Harbor. Police said the suspect has 12 prior felonies.

Gig Harbor Det. Mike Cabacungan assisted the other agencies in tracking down the suspect.
