CenturyLink will be collecting money/checks and non-perishible food items for local non-profit Food Backpacks 4 Kids. As part of this effort, CenturyLink is inviting local community members to join employees in supporting the Food Backpacks 4 Kids.
The CenturyLink Clarke M. Williams Foundation has pledged to match donations at $1 per pound of food or up to 1 million pounds natiowide, providing the opportunity to increase indiviual donations with the support of this match.
Our local food bank has the ability to buy in bulk so they can purchase more with $1 than you or I. For that reason, every dollar donated will be calculated as 6lbs of food and matched with a $6 donation (up to 1 million pounds/dollars total).
Please bring food, cash or checks (made out to Food Backpacks for Kids to the CenturyLink Office at 8102 Skansie Avenue, GH between 8:30 - 4:30 M-F.
