Chalk the Walk: The Winners Are...
Here are the winners who took home the blue ribbon for their chalk masterpiece at the annual Chalk the Walk event.
Locals flocked to downtown Gig Harbor on Sunday for the annual. Among the 24 chalkers who painted the sidewalks, here are the winners from the contest. The Gig Harbor Historic Waterfront Association, who organized the event, awarded the first place winners with a certificate.
- Under 6 category: Riley Blue, Gig Harbor (Honorable mention: John Webb)
- 7 - 10 year old category: Katie Kritzer, Gig Harbor (Honorable mention: Maggie Hubbard)
- 11-13 year old category: Elaine Butler and Annie Ng, Gig Harbor (Honorable mention: N’ton Schiers)
- High School/College category: Katarina Pearson, Gig Harbor (Honorable mention: Jaxon Schiers)
- Adult category: Jessica Noorlander, Gig Harbor, WA (Honorable mention: Josh Noorlander)
- Family category: The Sikes Family, Gig Harbor, WA (Honorable mention: Rohr Family)
