City Announces New Court Administrator

"I have some big shoes to fill," Colberg said. "I hope to continue providing great customer service and access to justice."
Colberg, a Gig Harbor resident since 1995, brings 23 years of experience in the legal field. She began working for the city in 2001 as the court clerk. She was promoted to the lead court clerk position in 2007.

Her duties as the court administrator include managing the budget and finances and overseeing court operations.
“I have confidence in Colberg’s abilities and based on her broad experience I know she will bring competence and professionalism to the administration of the court," Dunn said.
"It's a great community, and I'm glad to be part of it," she said.
The City of Gig Harbor has opened the lead court clerk position internally as of Friday, and its employees are able to apply until this Friday, June 24.
