The City of Gig Harbor issued a Determination of Nonsignificance (DNS) under the State Environmental Policy Act Rules (Chapter 197-11-WAC) for the following project:

Application PL-SEPA-22-0002 – ARCO Fuel Tank Replacement

The project proposal is to replace the existing underground fuel storage tanks (USTs) and fuel dispensers with two (2) new USTs and four (4) new fuel dispensers.

After review of a completed environmental checklist and other information on file with the agency, the City of Gig Harbor has determined the above proposal, with mitigation, will not have a probable significant adverse impact on the environment.

The public is invited to comment on this DNS by submitting written comments to the above address no later than February 24, 2022.    The deadline for appealing the final SEPA Threshold Determination is March 3, 2022
