College Football - Week 1

I love my job as a business consultant specializing in crisis management.  And, I love college football as a fan.  So, I came up with an idea this year that brings these two passions together and I created the Safe Harbor Consulting College Football Crisis Management Award.

This award will recognize the team(s) that overcame the largest deficit in a college football game (with at least one FBS participant) on their way to victory each week.

The honor in week one was bestowed upon Troy University, who beat UAB 34 - 31 and North Dakota State University (a FCS school), who beat Kansas State 24 -21 after trailing at one point in the game by two touchdowns or 14 points.

You can read the story behind these come-from-behind victories in my blog article for Week 1.

I don't know if this will really draw any attention to my business, but it sure is going to make the 2013 College Football season even that much more fun for me.

Oh yeah, my season tickets to the Washington Huskies games will be fun, too!
