Who Needs CPRO?

Dental Hygienist - Nurse's - Medical Office Personnel - EMT's - Firefighters - Coach'sAnyone with a duty to respond, needs this class.

As an EMT, Nurse, Firefighter, Athletic Trainer, or Lifeguard, it is your duty to respond to cardiac or breathing emergencies until more advanced medical personnel can take over.

Register for this class (Only Six Seats Per Class).

From assessing needs and making decisions to providing care, this program provides the skills you need through discussion, video and hands-on training based on real-life rescue scenarios. The First Aid CPR AED Healthcare & Professional Responders course covers adults, children and infants and includes free online refreshers. Classroom and blended learning options available.

First Aid CPR AED Healthcare and Professional Responders February 27th, 2014.

First Aid CPR AED Healthcare & Professional Responders Course length: Approximately 6.5 hours

Topics include:
  • Primary assessment
  • Ventilations including use of CPR breathing barriers and use of bag-valve-masks (BVMs)
  • Choking (conscious and unconscious)
  • CPR (one- and two-rescuer)
  • Using AED
  • Optional training in use of epinephrine auto-injectors and asthma inhalers available
Trains professional rescuers to respond to breathing and cardiac emergencies in adults, children and infants until more advanced medical personnel take over.

emphasis on hands-on skills
• Choice of free digital or competitively priced print
course materials for participants and instructors
• New blended learning course available
• Optional training includes Administering Emergency
Oxygen, Bloodborne Pathogens Training, Asthma,
