Eat Pizza, Help Gig Harbor Firefighters Fight Cancer
The department is taking over a local pizzeria to raise money for a stair-climb to benefit cancer research.

GIG HARBOR, WA - If you like pizza and fighting cancer, you'll want to make sure you're free for dinner on Feb. 28.
Gig Harbor Fire his holding a "takeover" of Pizzeria Fondi, 4621 Point Fosdick Drive Northwest, where 20 percent of your bill will go toward the team of Gig Harbor firefighters who will climb the Columbia Tower in Seattle on March 12 to raise money for cancer research.
The Feb. 28 takeover begins at 5 p.m. Visit the Gig Harbor Fire and Medic One Facebook page to get a coupon that you can use to donate 20 percent of your bill to the stair-climb team.

Gig Harbor is participating in the Scott Firefighter Stairclimb to raise money for leukemia and lymphoma research. Firefighters from around the region will climb 69 floors of the 788-foot Columbia Tower.
