Harbor Covenant Church Hosts
Theologian to Speak on the Environment

Gig Harbor, Washington –
October 25, 2013 – Harbor Covenant Church will host Dr. Jay Phelan, professor
at North Park Theological Seminary in Chicago, on Sunday, November 3, at 8:30
and 10:00 a.m., to speak on environmental stewardship and the role of
Christians in that.  A question and
answer session will follow at 11:30 a.m. 

This is an opportunity to
consider the question of living within our means environmentally, just as we
strive to live within our financial means, and contemplate what that looks
like.

Exhibits by agencies and
programs featuring opportunities to be involved in creation care will be
displayed throughout the morning in the church’s Gathering Place.

Families are welcome, and
childcare is provided for ages 0-4.
