Saturday Feb 4th and each Saturday through Feb 25th        1 pm – 2:30 pm
Price Per Beer Class: $20
All 4 Beer Classes: $75

As beer drinkers, we are becoming highly sophisticated in our knowledge of beer. Of course the most critical attribute in the flavor of beer is…do you like it.  We have assembled a course program that allows you to feel confident in your knowledge of beer evaluation.  By the end of the course, you will have a working knowledge of the origin and nature of beer, tasting methods and a wide range of classic and modern beer styles. This course builds knowledge from the ground up, giving participants the building blocks to understand beer in all its many glorious forms. Extensive sampling of beers styles in each course allows for the practical experience everyone is looking for.

Come by yourself or with a group of your friends to this fun and informative series.  Call us for tickets or give it as a great for that beer lover you know!

We have three fantastic leads for this series  First is Doug  Tiede, a Great American Beer Festival award winning brewer for the Engine House #9.  Doug  has  has traveled extensively touring and establishing breweries around the world. Doug has worked on very level of the beer industry and loves to share his knowledge and experiences.  Doug will lead us through great foundation information and of course through a great menu of English Ales.

The second class lead by Doug also will explore the classic styles of beer from Germany and the Czech Republic and how those styles have influenced lots of American beers.

Our third class is an exploration of Belgian Ales with Alan Shapiro of SBS Imports.  We will learn about and taste samples of  representative Trappist & Abbey Ales, Saisons, Witbier, Lambic, and Red Beers.

The fourth class is all about New American brewing featuring Stone Brewery with Todd Walton.  We will also learn about how beer and food pairing is designed for your next party.
