Friends, family, and the public are invited to celebrate the publication of The Kingdom Beyond the Sunset, a novel for all ages by Diane H. Larson, at a Book Launching Party on Sunday, Sept. 30, from 4:00 to 6:00. Books signed by author will be offered at an introductory price. Besides book signing, there will be refreshments, great company, and wonderful music. Local musicians Karla Jo Tupper, Bob and Lynda Wickline, and some of the young New Voice singers will perform original songs from the book. The Kingdom Beyond the Sunset is about two preteen outsiders, Priscilla and Alasdair, who travel to the Kingdom Beyond the Sunset, a mystical land of multi-colored inhabitants who protect their Sacred Light and live out their values of love, courage, truth, and wisdom. They have been brought to this land to help save their world from an overshadowing darkness.
When Prince Inky borrows the Sacred Light and vanishes with it, Priscilla and Alasdair go on an epic journey to find him and bring him back. On the way they experience grand adventures, terrifying ordeals, and fascinating encounters with unforgettable characters.
