Community Concert & Environmental Fair to Benefit Food Backpacks 4 Kids

COMMUNITY CONCERT & ENVIRONMENTAL FAIR

Fox Island United Church of Christ will host “Peace on Earth Day,” an Interfaith Concert & Environmental Fair, Saturday, April 27 at 2pm.  The performers and exhibitors seek to raise donations to benefit the Food Backpacks 4 Kids program, held district-wide in the Peninsula Schools.  Food Backpacks 4 Kids provides nutritious and easy-to-prepare weekend meals for children whose families are struggling or homeless.  Volunteers fill between 473 and 517 backpacks every week in our school district! 

Performers include La Voz de Paz Interfaith Choir, the FIUCC Chancel Choir, Wickline Family & Friends, New Voice, Leaves of One Tree, and more.  Afterwards enjoy refreshments while you visit the Environmental Fair exhibits and learn ways to be a good steward of our precious earth and all creation!
