Come for one session or multiple sessions and learn boat repair and restoration techniques. Boatbuilder Tom Regan will teach boat repair skills throughout #706’s renovation using traditional and modern boat repair methods. Following #706’s launch the BoatShop will make the boat available for the public to use on Gig Harbor bay.

- Repair a strip planked hull.
- Apply Dynel and epoxy sheathing on the hull.
- Remove and install a transom.
- Fabricate and install floor timbers.
- Design and build an interior.
- Build and install decks.
- Make floorboards.
- Install steering gear.
- Install running gear.
- Build and install a shaft log and engine beds.
- Install an electric main propulsion system.
- Paint and varnish.
- Celebrate on launching day
