
For those who love sushi and want to make it themselves, Chef Toby Kim teaches you the basic skills to make sushi rice, create Nori rolls and gain a new appreciation of this Japanese culinary art.
In order to ensure the maximum freshness of the sushi flavors, this class will be eat-as-you-roll. Sake and beer pairings will be discussed and served as part of the class.
Chef Toby Kim is a graduate of the Seattle Culinary Academy. After a decade with the The Carnation Herb Farm Restaurant, and most recently Poppy, the popular restaurant on Seattle’s Capitol Hill, Toby is now sharing his wealth of experience and knowledge with others by teaching full-time.

Classes at Bella Kitchen & Home are an intimate "hands on" culinary experience. Your chef/instructor will open with a brief lecture and demonstrate specific techniques, providing expertise and guidance throughout the evening. You and other class members will make the meal, participating at the level that corresponds to your interest. Our goal is that you learn some new culinary skills, enjoy the fine food that you prepared and have fun in the process.
