The Fundamentals of French Cuisine II

Join Chef Jasmine Biernacki for an evening steeped in French flavors, cooking technique, and joie de vivre!  This class is the second in a two-part series highlighting the foundations of French cooking.  The techniques in this class will be presented as they relate to a selection of classical French dishes, but are useful for everyday cooking!

Menu to include: 

Potato Bacon Gallette (technique: tart dough)
Palmiers (technique: handling puff pastry)
Mushroom Pate (technique: knife skills)

Salade aux Noix (technique: vinaigrette)
Boeuf Bourguignon (technique: braising)
Buttered Noodles 
Ratatouille (technique: vegetable cookery)

Extremely Decadent Chocolate Mousse (technique: custards)

 

This is a hands-on class; a family-style dinner and wine pairings are included in the price.
