Video: Fire Destroys Gig Harbor Preschool Classroom
Firefighters were responding to the blaze around 3:45 p.m. Wednesday.
GIG HARBOR, WA - A building that housed a preschool classroom at Harbor Heights Elementary School was destroyed by a fire Wednesday afternoon.
Firefighters responded to the school, 4002 36th Ave Ct Northwest, just before 4 p.m. Wednesday. Upon arrival, firefighters saw that a portable classroom was on fire. The firefighters were able to quickly get the blaze under control, but the fire severely damaged the portable building.
No one was inside the portable at the time of the fire, and there were no reported injuries. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.

Our crews are responding to a working fire in a small Harbor Heights Elementary school portable. Currently, they are attempting to ventilate the building and clear the smoke. They are operating in an offensive attack.
