Free Boat Safety Class With Gig Harbor Police
The Gig Harbor Police Department will host a boat safety class for the public on Sunday, April 29th.

GIG HARBOR, WA - From the Gig Harbor Police Department: On Sunday, April 29, 2018 from 10:00 a.m. β 4:00 p.m., the Gig Harbor Police Department Marine Services Unit will be providing FREE boating safety vessel inspections and educational seminars.
You can have your vessel inspected in one of several ways:
FREE educational seminars will be held at the Gig Harbor Marina and Boatyard classrooms:

- 11:00 a.m. Prepping your boat for spring
- 12:00 p.m. Care and feeding of your outboard engine
- 1:00 p.m. Onboard tracking and messaging devices (SPOT Messenger)
We will also be offering:
- Free fire extinguisher servicing
- Free expired flare disposal
- Discounts on other marine safety items
Vessel inspections will be performed by GHPD officers and our partners from the U.S. Power Squadron and USCG Auxiliary.
