Gig Harbor BoatShop's Family Boatbuilding Program at the historic Eddon Boatyard

Participate in Gig Harbor Boatshop’s Family Boatbuilding Program at the historic Eddon Boatyard in downtown Gig Harbor. Each group is assigned its own wooden boat expert who will guide your team every step of the way through the construction of a 12-foot, 90-pound Salt Bay Skiff. On Sunday, after a ceremonial launch and row on Gig Harbor Bay, the skiff will be yours to take home and enjoy forever.

Each session spans a Saturday and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Upcoming dates include March 5-6, April 2-3, May 7-8 (sold out) and June 4-5. Children age 12 and older are welcome.
