Gig Harbor City Council Meeting Agenda: April 25

On the agenda tonight at the Gig Harbor City Council meeting:

PRESENTATIONS:

• Swearing-in Ceremony: Reserve Officers Matthew Bell, Jennifer Moots and James Oxier.
• Peninsula Communities of Faith - Plan to Assist and End Homelessness by Steve Wickline.

OLD BUSINESS:

• Second reading of ordinance: Definition of gross income for business and occupation (B&O) utility tax.

NEW BUSINESS:

• First reading of ordinance: Establishing hospital benefit zone (HBZ) state sales tax credit.

STAFF REPORT:

• Request to use the Civic Center as a voting center.

The council members and city officials will also meet for an executive session at the end of the meeting.

The design review board meeting on Thursday, April 28 at 5 p.m. has been cancelled.
