The two-time defending state champions, girls water polo team, defeated Curtis, 11-8, over the weeekend.
The game was close throughout with multiple lead changes, but with just over four minutes left to play the teams were tied up 8-8, but the Tides would eventually pull away by scoring two goals in the final 90 seconds for the win.
