Gig Harbor Man Hurt In Crash Near Hoquiam
The crash happened Friday afternoon along SR 109, according to state police.

HOQUIAM, WA - A 36-year-old Gig Harbor man suffered a medical emergency while driving along SR 109 Friday afternoon. The emergency caused the man to leave the road and crash into a wooded area along the side of the road, according to state police.
The crash happened just before 3 p.m. Friday west of the downtown Hoquiam area. The man's minivan crossed over the center line and continued off the side of the road into the wooded area.
The driver was taken to a hospital in Aberdeen for treatment of injuries, and police do not suspect that drugs or alcohol were a factor in the crash.
