The position is for a six-year term.
GIG HARBOR, WA - The city is looking for a resident interested in serving on the Civil Service Commission for a six-year term. The commission is responsible for establishing eligibility lists for various classes of positions within the police department along with certifying lists for hiring purposes, hearing complaints on examination and maintaining records.
The commission meets at least once a year or more frequently as needed. The position is voluntary and receives no compensation.
