Gig Harbor Student Unscathed After Crash At High School

The student miscalculated a turn, according to Gig Harbor fire.

GIG HARBOR, WA - A Gig Harbor High School student escaped uninjured after a car accident at the school this afternoon.

The student was turning into the school parking lot just after noon Wednesday. According to Gig Harbor fire, the student miscalculated the turn, drove over the sidewalk, and crashed into a cedar tree.

The car's airbags deployed, but the student walked away from the crash without any injuries. The car was likely totaled, however.
