Gig Harbor Welcomes Newest Police Officer
The officer was sworn in at the City Council meeting Monday night.
GIG HARBOR, WA - The police department officially added its newest officer Monday night at the City Council meeting.
Mayor Jill Guernsey welcomed new officer Michael Clabaugh by administering the oath of office. The department is still hiring for lateral police officers. You can learn more about becoming a Gig Harbor police officer on the department's employment page.
It was appropriate that Clabaugh was sworn-in on Monday - Jan. 9 was the third annual National Law Enforcement Appreciation Day
