Flanked by his wife Lindsey and two young girls, Jim gave a speech focused on the need for the Port to take advantage of the hundreds of acres that are going underutilized which if filled with tenants could produce millions in local tax revenues, provide funds for schools and infrastructure while employing hundreds of new employees with living wage jobs and decent benefits.

In addition, environmental issues are a top priority for Jim and he wants our port to set a standard in protecting our air and water. Jim strongly supports and is committed to an open, cooperative relationship with our longshoreman’s union who he believes are the backbone to the future success of a thriving Port.
