Guided Native Plant Walk

Join Washington Native Plant Society for a guided walk thru a private, second growth forest in Gig Harbor on Monday May 25 at 10:00AM

Monday, May 25, 2015 at 10:00AM. Bring rain gear if the weather is threatening. Binoculars are always worth bringing. Bring lunch if you’d like to linger by the lake or in the house if it is raining.

Directions: From Tacoma, cross the Tacoma Narrows Bridge and take the City Center / Wollochet / Pioneer exit. At the light at the end of the off ramp, continue straight through the intersection onto Stinson Avenue and proceed down the hill toward Gig Harbor. In just over 0.5 mi. turn Left (W) onto Rosedale St. NW. Continue West on Rosedale Street about 1.5 mi., then turn Left (S) before the 6212 sign on the far side of the driveway.

Extra help: The last turn before the driveway is 61st Avenue NE. There are 3 utility poles on the left between 61st and the driveway. If you reach Lombard Drive, you’ve gone too far.
