Heron's Key Invites Seniors to Open House Dec. 29

Heron's Key Hosts Open House

Heron’s Key, an innovative retirement community coming to Gig Harbor, is welcoming the public to learn about the benefits of living at a Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC) at its open house event 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday, Dec. 29 at the Heron’s Key Informational Center.

Guests will learn about Heron’s Key distinctive features including independent lifestyle, rich amenities offered, a guarantee of long term health care and financial security. Enjoy holiday desserts while having enlightening conversation with Heron’s Key staff members and others interested in choosing Heron’s Key as a place to call home. Heron’s Key is being designed with the input of future residents, and will offer distinct, modern amenities that allow them to lead vital and independent lifestyles. It believes in being an active part of the community and has numerous events planned for both future residents and the public. As the first Type A CCRC in Pierce County, Heron’s Key offers an opportunity for more than 350 individuals to enjoy the beauty and community of the Maritime City. Heron’s Key is managed by Emerald Communities, a regional senior housing and service organization and is currently welcoming reservations. It is scheduled to open in 2017.

About Heron’s Key:
Heron’s Key, sponsored by Emerald Communities, is a not-for-profit senior housing and service organization. Scheduled to open in 2017, Heron’s Key is situated on nearly 19 acres in the Harbor Hill neighborhood of Gig Harbor, Wash. and will provide housing and service to people ages 55 and older in the aspects of independent, assisted living and skilled nursing.
