Home 'A Total Loss' After Fire Near Gig Harbor
Gig Harbor and Key Peninsula firefighters responded Saturday morning to a fire at a home west of Purdy.
WAUNA, WA - Gig Harbor and Key Peninsula firefighters responded Saturday morning to a fire at a home west of Purdy. The fire was reported in a house along 128th Street Northwest, which is southwest of SR 302 off Danforth Street. The fire was first reported at approximately 9:30 a.m. Saturday.
Firefighters were eventually able to extinguish the fire, but the home was reported as "a total loss" due to the fire, according to Key Peninsula firefighters.
The home was along the Puget Sound shoreline in Wauna. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
