Kitsap Banks Gives To 19 Nonprofits For Valentine's Day

Kitsap Bank made a surprise announcement this Valentine's Day, donating $15,000 to local non-profit organizations.

From Kitsap Bank: Kitsap Bank made a surprise announcement this Valentine’s Day, donating $15,000 to local non-profit organizations as part of the bank’s MAD (Making a Difference) For Our Community Program. For every hour that Kitsap Bank employees volunteered in 2017, the bank donated money to a non-profit of their choice. In total, employees volunteered over 4,100 hours. The selected non-profits received notification of the surprise donations on February 14th.

“Kitsap Bank is proud of our tradition of community involvement, which spans more than a century,” stated Steve Politakis, CEO. “Our employees have done a tremendous job giving back. Their dedication, commitment and capacity to contribute not only makes them a great asset to Kitsap Bank, but also to our communities in which we live and work.”
