Letter to the Editor: A Long List of Projects for the City

Despite the completion of several major projects (BB16 interchange, wastewater treatment plant expansion, outfall extension, etc.), the Engineering Division continues to have a full plate.

This is a picture of the Engineering Division’s capital project schedule for this year. As you can see, they’re not twiddling their thumbs—they still have a lot going on this year. This schedule is hanging on the wall in my office if you’d like to come take a look.

P.S. – This list does not include civil plan review and inspections for private projects, which is also a major component of the Engineering Division’s work load.
