Local I-5 Intersection Makes List Of 20 Worst In U.S.
Can you guess which Tacoma-area confluence of highways it is?

GIG HARBOR, WA - Unless you don't own a car or haven't left your house in 20 years, you know that traffic near the Tacoma Dome, where State Road 16, I-5, and I-705 all mash together, is unspeakably bad.
That confluence of highways is so bad, it's been ranked among one of the 20 worst bottlenecks in the U.S. by the American Transportation Research Institute. And although the Tacoma Dome-area is bad, several other notorious nearby intersections made the list - I-5 and 18 in Federal Way and 167 and 18 in Auburn.
