Local League Units to discuss Human Trafficking in September

League of Women Voters of Tacoma-Pierce County present a program each second Saturday at the Harbor History Museum

The Gig Harbor-Key Peninsula Unit of LWVT-PC will present a program co-sponsored by Pierce County Coalition Against Trafficking (PCCAT) and Washington Engage entitled “How Can We Help Prevent Human Trafficking?” at its four area Unit meetings in September. The main speaker will be Ivy Berger from SMART Programs. Katie Wyatt and Anne Lester from PCCAT will help answer questions and share first-hand experiences.

The September 13 program begins at 2:00 pm and is open to the public at the Harbor History Museum, 4121 Harborview Dr, Gig Harbor.
