Logging Truck Crash Causing Delays On 16
The crash happened Wednesday afternoon and was blocking eastbound lanes.
A crash along State Road 16 near I-5 in Tacoma was blocking three eastbound lanes, causing a major traffic slowdown.
Collision on EB SR 16 near I 5 at mp 0. The two center lanes across Nalley Valley are blocked.

As of 2:30 p.m., the crash was causing delays, but traffic was getting through. Backups were beginning around the Union Avenue exit in Tacoma.
