Love Letters In A Bottle: Gig Harbor Couple's Messages Circulate Puget Sound

GIG HARBOR, WA - As you travel along the shores and waterways of Puget Sound, keep your eyes open for a wine bottle, because it might contain true love.

A story in the Tacoma News-Tribune out this week tells the tale of a married man and woman from Gig Harbor who, on their wedding day in 2012, tossed a wine bottle full of their love letters into Puget Sound. The bottle has been floating around the sound ever since.

And what sounds like something out of a movie, people have been finding the bottle and adding their own letters.

The bottle has made it all the way from Grapeview to near Maury Island - so keep your eyes open, it might turn up near Gig Harbor next.
