Heron's Key to host financial senior living event on March 18

Heron’s Key, an innovative retirement community, that’s soon to open in Gig Harbor, is inviting the public to discover the financial benefits and security of living in a Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC). The event will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, March 18 at the Chapel Hill Presbyterian Church, and will provide important information about evaluating senior living options. Chapel Hill Presbyterian Church is located at 7700 Skansie Ave., Gig Harbor, Wash. 98335.
Guest speaker Brad Breeding, certified financial planner and president of LifeSite Logics, will speak with guests about the benefits of moving to a CCRC by using the LifeSite Logics DecisionGenie calculator. The tool helps prospective residents reveal the potential financial impact of moving to one community compared to another. In addition, guests can use the tool to see the impact of long-term care insurance has on a retirement decision.
