The new managers at Madrona Links Restaurant and Lounge are hoping to drum up more business on Saturday nights with an easy listening lounge act featuring Larry Hill.

If you're in the mood to listen to the croonings of some nostalgic tunes, you might want to check out . Madrona debuts its Stoli Saturdays Martini Music tomorrow night, Oct. 8, featuring veteran musician Larry Hill on the piano.
The easy-listening lounge act is the latest effort on the part of new management to give the iconic Gig Harbor restaurant a facelift and some added appeal. The owners of , which itself only in April, signed on to run the restaurant in early July. Since then, they've slowing been updating the place.
Hill's piano act is an attempt to bring in more business on Saturday nights, which is notably slow, said Justin Goodfellow, the JW partner who is leading the Madrona makeover. "We want it to be that kind of old traditional piano bar where everyone knows your name; you come in where Larry with his gravelly voice is singing Sitting on the Dock of the Bay," he said.

Hill has been part of the Puget Sound music circuit for 30 years. His solo gig at Madrona will feature older classics from the 1960s and earlier. It will run every Saturday night, from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m.
