This past weekend I purchased (for the first time) produce from the Sunday morning . The strawberries had signage stating they were Certified Organic, which is what I'm interested in. However, there was another produce stand with not much signage so I inquired about whether or not his produce might be organic, he told me it was too expensive for him to actually be "CERTIFIED" but also told me he didn't spray or use pesticides...Days later, I mentioned to a friend my new place for local no-sprayed & also non-GMO Seeds only to find out his neighbors all see him spraying on a regular basis!!! Friends of friends have also discussed this. Can someone confirm with me one way or the other please??
I don't want to support someone not truthful about their product!!!
