Santa Comes To Gig Harbor Early Courtesy of the Fire Department

GIG HARBOR, WA - Santa is coming to Gig Harbor early this year - but instead of giving out gifts, he'll be collecting food and toys for the FISH Food Bank and Christmas Project. And, instead of a sleigh, Santa will be riding around town on a fire engine courtesy of the Gig Harbor Fire Department.

Here's Santa's schedule for his pre-Christmas tour of Gig Harbor:

Dec. 5
Engine 54 will visit Discovery Point (36th St & 30th Ave Ct), Quail Run (Briarwood between 38th Ave & Pt. Fosdick), Quail Park (Pt. Fosdick & 41st St NW), 4425 (Pt. Fosdick & Harbor Country Dr.), Forest Grove Apartments (56th St & 36th Ave), and Gig Harbor Villa (5900 Soundview Dr.).

Engine 55 will visit Cliffside Apartments (14th Ave & Cliffside Ln), Pt Evans Estates (14th Ave & 34th St Ct)
Hidden Glen (14th Ave & 38th St), Southport (Reid Dr. & 44th St Ct @ 7:00), Hilltop (Reid Dr. & Hilltop Ln), Harbor Point Apartments (Reid Dr. & 47th St), and Harborwood Apartments (6100 Soundview Dr.).

Dec. 6
Between 5 and 8:30 p.m. Engine 54 will visit Cabrini (Wollochet & 31st St), Wollochet Heights (Wollochet & Spruce Ln), 1 Point Fosdick, Saratoga (26th Ave & 8th St), and Bridgewood Estates (Jahn Ave & 25th St Ct).

Between 5 and 8:30 p.m. Engine 55 will visit Rosedale Market (Rosedale & 86th Ave) at 5 p.m., Woodmere (Lombard & 77th St), Chelsea Park (Hunt St & 62nd Ave Ct), North Creek Estates (46th Ave & North Creek Ln), Rosedale Townhomes (4418 Rosedale), and Stinson Park Apartments (7314 Stinson Ave).

Dec. 7
Between 5 and 8:30 p.m. Engine 54 will visit Arletta Store at 5 p.m., Whitley Hills (40th St & 75th Ave Ct), Wildwood (40th St & 75th Ave Ct), Canta Rana(40th St & 67th Ave), 70th Ave & 35th St, Bridlewood (Ford Dr. & 31st St Ct), and Cromwell Woods (Ford Dr. & 30th St).

Between 5:30 and 8:30 p.m. Engine 54 will visit Sylvia Lake Cabana (75th St and 85th Ave) at 5:30 p.m., Islandview Market at 6 p.m., Braewood (Rosedale St & 80th St), Millbrook (66th Ave & 84th St), Rosedale Ridge (Gated Neighborhood beyond 66th Ave & 92nd St), and Cedarwood (46th Ave & 69th St).

Dec. 8
Between 5 and 8:30 p.m. Engine 54 will visit Harbor Hill (Harbor Hill Dr. and Sentinel Dr.), Bracera Apartments (Borgen Blvd. & Olympus Way), Haven at Harbor Hill (Olympus Way & Boulder Ct.), and Enclave at Harbor Hill (Olympus Way & Cooper Ct.).

Between 5 and 8 p.m. Engine 55 will visit Henderson Bay Estates ( Big park on 111th St NW at 5 p.m.), Harbor Crossing (Borgen Blvd & 51st Ave), and The Ridge at Gig Harbor (Borgen Blvd. & Harbor Hill Ave).

Dec. 9
Between 5 and 8 p.m. Engine 54 will visit Avalon Woods (Peacock Hill Ave & 100th St Ct), Valley View (Peacock Hill Ave & 107th St), Woodridge (Peacock Hill Ave & 112th St Ct), Harbor Estates (Peacock Hill Ave & 118th St Ct [West]), Peacock Hill Ave & 131st St Ct., and Montery Estates (Peacock Hill Ave & 135th St Ct).

Between 5 and 8 p.m. Engine 55 will visit Sunrise Trace (Hallstrom & 117th St Ct), Morningside (Hallstrom & 118th [East]), Pt Richmond Ridge (Hallstrom & 134th St), North Crescent Lake Estates (155th St NW & Crescent Valley Dr NW), Wellington (144th St NW & 49th Ave Ct NW), Wilderness Creek (144th St NW & 51st Ave NW), and Olympic Sunset West (54th Ave & 142nd St).
