Street Closures During Maritime Gig Festival

GIG HARBOR, WA - Prepare for a fun weekend in Gig Harbor as the annual Maritime Gig Festival kicks off Saturday - but if you're not attending, be aware that the festival will close some downtown streets.

According to police, the following closures will start at 5 a.m. on Saturday:

• Harborview Drive – Rosedale Street to 3026 Harborview Drive (Tickled Pink Retail Shop)
• Pioneer Way – Tarabochia Street to Harborview Drive

During the parade Sunday, the following streets will be closed between approximately 8:30 a.m. and 1 p.m.

• North Harborview Drive – Peacock Hill to Harborview Drive
• North Harborview Drive – Harborview Drive to Burnham Drive
• Harborview Drive – Burnham Drive to Soundview Drive
• Soundview Drive – Harborview Drive to Judson Street
• Judson Street – Soundview Drive to Pioneer Way
