Hey, Gig Harbor and happy Friday!

I've got a lot of good stuff for you in today's digest including a write-up from the Kitsap Sun about a new legislative proposal to pay off the Tacoma Narrows Bridge a decade early — and potentially cut down on years of tolling.

I've also included a story from KING 5 about a rise in organized shoplifting in the Gig Harbor area, and (on a brighter note) I've written a preview for a grand opening of the new Locust Cider Taproom, which will happen next Thursday. The company recently relocated their operation to Gig Harbor, and if all goes well, they'll soon be running an "experimental orchard and mint farm", to create and test out new cider varieties, which seems very cool.

Enough about that though, here is your digest:

First, today's weather:

Rain and drizzle in the p.m.. High: 44 Low: 43.
