Tides Tavern to Close During Parking Lot Paving
Tides Tavern will be closed this week due to construction on the new parking lot. It is expected to reopen by Friday afternoon.
The owner of Gig Harbor’s local iconic tavern and food joint, , says The Tides will be closed for four and a half days during a repaving project of the public parking area beginning today, Nov. 14. The Tides Tavern will reopen Friday afternoon Nov. 18 or earlier if the weather cooperates.
The has been working on the property adjacent to the Tides to provide a new public parking area for downtown businesses and future public access to the bay with a new pier. This project began in the fall and the paving will take place the week of Nov. 14.
