• Powwow dancing isn't always accessible. This Puyallup Tribe dad wants to change that. (kuow.org) — Graham residents recently hosted the Fourth Annual South Sound Powwow at Bethel High School, where a Puyallup Tribe father introduced a special dance welcoming participants with disabilities. His sons and other dancers used headphones, street clothes, and other accommodations, creating a safe, inclusive space. Organizers now hope to spread this accessibility model to powwows across the U.S. and Canada.
